{Tasty Thursday} Rolo Cookies

I recently found the easiest recipe for Rolo Cookies and I have been hooked on them ever since!

All you need is...
  • 1 box of devil's food cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. of oil
  • A bag of rolos
Mix the cake mix, eggs, and oil together and roll the dough around a rolo so it just barely covers it. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 8-10 mins. and if desired sprinkle powdered sugar on the top and enjoy!

Makes 2 dozen.

They are seriously the easiest cookies to make and they taste sooo good! And sorry for the lame picture, I totally forgot to take one when it was bitten into!

{Beauty Tips} TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

This post brought to you by TRESemmé. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever heard of  TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo??
It is so handy when you have 2nd day hair if you don't feel like pulling it up and you don't have time to wash your hair that morning.

Here is how to get the best results from TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo:
- Shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.
- Lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots
- Spray in short bursts, holding 8-12 inches from head
- Don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously)
- Leave in for 1-2 minutes.
- Use fingertips or a brush to distribute product evenly
- If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.

A little more about TRESemmé Dry Shampoo's!
And the cool thing is that there are different styles for your different hair needs!

- A complete line of dry shampoos that revive your style’s look and feel on days you skip a shampoo
- Uniquely formulated to absorb excess oil and remove odor, the full line of dry shampoos rejuvenates hair without a drop of water.
- With a renewing burst of citrus extracts infused into every product, it leaves hair with a clean, fresh scent.

 The full line includes:
o Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.
o Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.
o Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities and odor to ensure your smooth look lasts.
o Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus, and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil, impurities and odor while moisturizing hair.

{Friday Faves} TOMS shoes

I just recently purchased my first pair of TOMS and I am in love with them!
I purchased the...

University Black Rope Sole Women's Classics

I love how they have an arched sole so they don't hurt your feet and they are the perfect summer shoe, plus they are so stinkin' cute!
(trust me, they look even cuter on)

Wanna know a secret? I didn't pay full price for them, I bought them for $29.99 (instead of $54) at a boutique based in Canada called Boutique Blo plus $9.99 shipping. I will admit I was a little skeptical at first because they were so much cheaper than regular TOMS, I was thinking they couldn't be the real deal. But they are! They are 100% real, they come with the famous "TOMS" flag and the shoes even have price tag attached just like it would be if you were to buy them at Nordstroms. The shipping was super fast too for coming from Canada, it only took one week.

So if you are wanting a pair of TOMS, I suggest you hit up Boutique Blo, with no doubts! They offer tons of different TOMS shoes too, not just the ones I bought :)

Lauren Conrad's Style Book

I would recommend this to all fashion lovers

You can buy it Amazon for $11.10 {Hardcover}
*Amazon prices always change, when I bought it was $9.99 but it went up a little, so just keep checking back*

Nomorerack

I have a confession....
I am a huge bargain shopper!
I hardly ever buy anything full price.

A couple months ago I came across this amazing daily deal site called

Everyday they have about 8 deals for more than 50% retail price and shipping is only $2 per item.
To make it even better, they usually will add random credits to your account or you can apply credit when they come out.

I use Freebies 2 Deals, that website will always tell when there is special codes (and other sales) with nomorerack and tons of other stores!

And look what I bought yesterday!

I had $27 credit in my account so the shoes ($27) were completely free! And the bag was $28.
I am in love with these two items.
If you have not signed up for NOMORERACK yet, you must!

Have you ever bought anything from NOMORERACK before?

      {Tasty Thursday} Homemade Twix Bar

I have decided to start {Tasty Thursday} because I LOVE food! A way to my heart is not through gifts but through food :)
So I will be sharing some of my favorite, easy, and yummy recipes.
I mean they have to be pretty easy, seeing that I am only 14 years old...

       Let's get started!

As I was browsing Pinterest I came across a couple recipes for Homemade Twix bars and I LOVE Twix! So I choose the easiest one I found and it was at Sweet Details, but the recipe didn't really tell you what to do exactly. So I am going to tell you what I did and how to improve the recipe.

      Crust/Base:
      1 cup flour
      1/4 cup sugar
      1/2 cup butter (melted)

Mix together all three ingredients in a mixing bowl using a wooden spoon till it is mixed together. Put it in any size pan (I used 8X8), depending how thick/tall you want your bar to be. Make sure to use the back of a  spoon or your hands to push it down to create a crust. Bake in the oven for 20 mins on 325 degrees (300 degrees convection).

while the crust is cooking work on the filling...
      Carmel-like Filling
      1/2 cup butter
      2 tbsp Corn Syrup
      1/2 cup condensed milk
      1/2 cup brown sugar

Put all ingredients in a pot (with sides), stirring constantly till boil. When it begins to boil reduce heat to low and stir for about 5 mins. Pour over the crust and let it cool down (I put it in the fridge for an hour or so).

      Chocolate Topping
100g (1 full size bar) cadbury milk chocolate (or any other chocolate you would like)

Melt your chocolate and pour over the crust and filling, let that cool.
I stuck it in the freezer cause I couldn't wait...haha.
*I put it in the fridge after eating it so the chocolate wouldn't
melt and it would stay together and to make it a little crunchy!*

It turned out so good and yummy! And it was super easy to make.
I will definitely be making this again!

      {Tutorial} Rosette & Ruffle T-Shirt

I am so excited to do my first tutorial ever!

      Supplies needed...
      • 2 shirts
      • hot glue/fabric glue (for the rosettes)
      • Sewing Machine (for the ruffles)
      • Thread and needle (to sew the rosettes on)
      • Fabric Scissors

To start off, grab two t-shirts, they can be exactly the same (like I did) or different colors.
I grabbed these shirts are Rue 21 for only $3.00 each!

First thing you want to do is take one of the shirts that you are going to cut up for the rosettes. Depending on your fabric and how stretchy it is you will need about 13-25″ long. For the smaller rosettes it usually it about 15" and the bigger one is usually 25″. Like I said, it depends on your fabric! It is always better to cut more than too little. For the width, I like 1.5"! Here or here  (thanks to pinterest) are great, easy tutorials I found just recently the explains how to make rosettes like mine.

I made one 25″X1.5" one and two 15″X1.5"

      Now onto the ruffles....

Because my fabric was pretty stretchy, when I cut it, it curled up a little. So I cut it a little wider than normal.
